Russ
Derickson has a background in science, engineering, technology,
business, and education. Russ serves as General Manager of
The Innovation Affinity Group, LLC, a firm dedicated to creativity
and innovation in the world of commerce, science and the arts.
Formerly, Russ was Senior Business Analyst and Senior IS Customer
Manager at Rhythms Netconnections, Inc., Associate Professor
at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Senior
Scientist and Chief Engineer at Architectural Energy Corporation,
Senior Research Scientist at the National Renewable Energy
Laboratory (NREL), and Senior Engineer at Applied Science
and Engineering.
His
experience includes product development, fundamental and applied
R&D, strategic planning, business analysis, quality assurance,
marketing, organizational development, training and education,
project management, coaching, and performance as a professional
jazz musician.
Mr.
Derickson currently teaches the Sustainable Products and
Services course at Presidio School of Management in San
Francisco, CA.

Hunter Lovins, J.D.
Hunter
was co-founder and CEO of Rocky Mountain Institute. A member
of the California Bar, she has co-authored dozens of papers
and nine books, including the landmark work, “Natural Capitalism:
Creating the Next Industrial Revolution.” She has consulted
for governments and the private sector, briefing senior management
at Interface Inc., Bank of America, Allstate, Royal Dutch/Shell
and many other companies, as well as the World Bank &
International Monetary Fund.
She
holds a J.D. degree from Loyola University and several honorary
doctorates. In 2000, she was named a Hero of the Planet
by Time Magazine. Hunter is Co-Chair of Sustainability and
teaches the Principles of Sustainable Management and
Implementation of Sustainable Business Practices courses
at Presidio School of Management in San Francisco, CA.
